Apple has unveiled a series of new beta software updates. The second beta for visionOS 2.3, tvOS 18.3, watchOS 11.3, and more is now being distributed.
Beta 2 is now available for Apple’s winter software lineup
After releasing major software updates in mid-December, Apple has followed up with a new set of beta versions.
Following a short break during the holidays, Apple has introduced developer beta 2 for several platforms, including:
- visionOS 2.3
- tvOS 18.3
- watchOS 11.3
- HomePod 18.3
- Additionally, iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS 15.3
If you possess a developer account, each beta 2 update can be accessed via your device’s Software Update section in Settings.
The initial beta releases were relatively sparse in terms of new features.
Aside from the introduction of Genmoji for the Mac, the primary feature added is the integration of robot vacuum support within the Home app.
Once compatible devices are released, this feature will allow users to control their robot vacuum not only through Apple’s Home app but also via Siri on platforms such as HomePod and Apple TV 4K.
We hope to see some exciting new features in today’s beta 2 updates for visionOS 2.3, tvOS 18.3, and the other software. Stay tuned for updates as we uncover new information.
