Apple has officially rolled out its latest software updates across its entire range of platforms. Among these updates are tvOS 18.3, HomePod 18.3, and visionOS 2.3. Here’s what you can look forward to.
New software updates aim for enhanced ‘performance and stability’
The newest software updates for Apple TV 4K, HomePod, and Vision Pro are notably sparse regarding new features.
Inside the code of iOS 18.3, there are hints that these updates introduce robot vacuum support in the Home app. While the initial setup of the device must be done through an iPhone, users can then control the robot vacuum via any Home-compatible devices such as HomePod, Apple TV 4K, and Vision Pro.
Aside from this, there are not many new inclusions.
For instance, the release notes for HomePod 18.3 succinctly state:

Updating to tvOS 18.3 and others without new feature incentives
We hope your device performs better following these updates, with major bugs addressed, though assessing such improvements often requires thorough testing.
In addition to new features, Apple’s software updates generally include important security patches, making them worthwhile to install.
To update to tvOS 18.3 and visionOS 2.3, navigate to the Settings app on your device. For HomePod 18.3, you need to access the Home app on a different device and go to Home Settings ⇾ Software Update.
