Apple Offers Free Streaming of Severance Season One on The Roku Channel for a Limited Period

In a bid to generate excitement for the forthcoming second season, Apple has made all of Severance’s first season available on the Roku Channel, allowing users to watch for free. The Roku Channel is home to over 90 million users, positioning it as one of the largest platforms for complimentary streaming video content.

This is the inaugural occasion where Apple TV+ content is accessible on a free third-party streaming service. This strategic move underscores Apple’s dedication to enhancing engagement and increasing the audience for its original programming.

The episodes from season one will be available at no cost on Roku until January 19. Viewers can also find a preview of season two and some behind-the-scenes features. Additionally, Roku users will be granted a three-month trial of Apple TV+, allowing them to dive into the second season as well.

Recently, a related promotion provided free streaming access to all TV+ content on the Apple TV app from January 3-5, presenting another chance for viewers to sample some original series without a subscription commitment.

Severance’s second season has garnered exceptional reviews from critics, and Apple is optimistic about maintaining that momentum leading up to a high-profile launch when the first episode debuts on January 17.
