This year, Apple Originals have earned a total of nine nominations for the Golden Globe Awards, with Slow Horses contending for Best Drama.

Apple TV+ has shared the latest recognition for its shows.

Today, Apple garnered nine nominations across four programs for the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, with key nominations including Best Drama for the darkly humorous spy series “Slow Horses” and Best Limited Series for the acclaimed thriller “Disclaimer,” alongside outstanding performance nominations for Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden in “Slow Horses”; Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline in “Disclaimer”; Jason Segel and Harrison Ford in “Shrinking”; and Jake Gyllenhaal in “Presumed Innocent.” The winners will be announced on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Alongside its Best Television Series and Drama nomination, Emmy-winning favorite “Slow Horses” earns a nod for lead actor Oldman, marking his second Golden Globe nomination for this role. Additionally, Lowden receives a nomination for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor, following previous Emmy and BAFTA nominations for their standout portrayals of the beloved Jackson Lamb (Oldman) and River Cartwright (Lowden).

Globally recognized thriller “Disclaimer,” directed by Alfonso Cuarón, achieved nominations for Best Performance and Limited Series for Oscar-winning stars Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline in their gripping roles as Catherine Ravenscroft and her adversary Stephen Brigstocke. These nominations follow the show’s recognition at the Critics Choice Awards, where it received four nominations, including Best Limited Series.

The hit comedy “Shrinking” received a Best Performance, Musical or Comedy nomination for Jason Segel, marking his second Golden Globe nomination for his role as Jimmy. Harrison Ford also received a nomination for Best Performance in a Supporting Role for his character Paul, his first Golden Globe nomination in a television category. These achievements follow the series’ previous nominations from the Emmy Awards and Critics Choice Awards.

Highly praised “Presumed Innocent” earned a Best Performance in a Drama nomination for lead actor Jake Gyllenhaal as Rusty Sabich, compounding with a recent nomination for co-star Ruth Negga at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.

Apple TV+ achieved its first Golden Globe Award in 2021 when Jason Sudeikis won Best Comedy Actor for his role in “Ted Lasso.” Since that time, Apple Originals have amassed an impressive total of 2,402 nominations and 535 wins.
