As mentioned, the more powerful iPad mini 7 is also currently on sale with the comparable 128GB model starting at just $399 shipped. If you’re open to the idea of the more compact and manageable 8-inch display (which some find preferable), the mini is only $70 more than the base-level A16 and should definitely be on your radar if you’re in the market for a new current-generation iPad right now.
