Apple Reveals Streaming Date for ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ Movie

The Apple original movie “Fly Me to the Moon” faced considerable challenges at the box office upon its release in July, managing to generate only $42 million in global revenue. This disappointing performance is perceived as a key reason for Apple’s decision to shift away from its earlier theatrical distribution approach.

After an extended exclusive period available for purchase or rental, Apple has officially revealed the streaming date for “Fly Me to the Moon” on Apple TV+: it will be available globally starting December 6.

The film received mixed reviews from critics but was generally appreciated by audiences who viewed it.

With its December 6 release, it will mark Apple’s significant new movie launch for the Christmas season.

In related news, Apple’s film division also debuted two new projects today: the World War II feature “Blitz” and the documentary “Bread & Roses”.
