Apple Sports Adds Broadcast Details for National Game Viewing

Apple has launched an updated edition of its Sports app for iPhone, featuring three new functionalities.

This update includes improved navigation with swiping between different pages, enhanced support for soccer events, and broadcast information to help users find where to watch national games. Apple introduced its proprietary Sports app nearly a year ago, offering a seamless way to monitor leagues, teams, and more through a specialized app that integrates with Live Activities on both iPhone and Apple Watch.

Here are the release notes for Apple Sports version 2.4:

  • The soccer lineup in Apple Sports continues to grow with the addition of the FA Cup, EFL Championship, and League Cup.
  • Navigation between your favorites has been accelerated. You can now swipe left or right to browse all the leagues and teams you follow more swiftly.
  • Get broadcast details for all national games, now accessible on game pages.

You can download the latest version from the App Store here.

Also, don’t forget to save the date for the Eagles vs Chiefs Super Bowl rematch taking place in New Orleans on February 9. Luckily, there’s an easy way to stream the game in 4K for free this year.
