Later this month, a FireAid Benefit Concert will take place to support those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. Featured performers include Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews, and Katy Perry, with the goal of gathering funds for wildfire relief initiatives.
Bloomberg has reported that this concert will be available to stream across all major platforms, including Apple TV+.
The event’s organizers are striving to maximize accessibility to ensure a broad audience and higher donations. Though Netflix won’t broadcast the concert on its service, it will reach its nearly 30 million followers on YouTube.
As reported by Lucas Shaw:
Netflix Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Paramount Global, Apple Inc., and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. will showcase the event on their streaming platforms, as part of a coalition of over a dozen companies. Additionally, the concert will be screened in select AMC theaters and made available on various radio and music streaming services. The event is scheduled for January 30, with tickets available for purchase eight days prior.
