Apple announced on Friday that it will publish its Q1 2025 earnings report on January 30, 2025. The upcoming report will provide a detailed overview of iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 sales, while also giving insights into sales trends during the holiday season.
Apple to unveil Q1 2025 earnings at the end of the month
For Q4 2024, which spanned from July to September, Apple reported a revenue of $94.93 billion, marking a 6% increase compared to the previous year. The company saw growth across most of its categories, with the exception of Wearables, Home, and Accessories, which encompasses products like the Apple Watch, AirPods, and HomePod.
Since the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 were launched in mid-September, the Q4 2024 report only reflects sales data from the first two weeks following their release. With the Q1 2025 report, covering sales from October to December, we can expect a more comprehensive analysis of the new devices’ performance.
Here’s a summary of Apple’s earnings from the same quarter last year:
- iPhone revenue: $69.70B
- Services revenue: $23.12B
- Mac revenue: $7.78B
- iPad revenue: $7.02B
- Wearables, Home & Accessories revenue: $11.95B
In addition, Apple formally announced today that Luca Maestri has resigned from his position as CFO and will now be heading the Corporate Services teams. The new CFO, Kevin Parekh, has been with the company for 11 years and previously managed Financial Planning and Analysis, General & Administrative, Benefits Finance, Investor Relations, and Market Research.
As per tradition, Apple will live stream the investor call on its website to discuss the results. The call is scheduled for 2PM PT/5PM ET, with the full earnings report to be released 30 minutes prior. This will mark Kevin Parekh’s debut as CFO during the call.
