Apple has introduced five new products this year, but there’s much more to anticipate. Along with significant software alterations like the redesign of iOS 19, there are over 15 new Apple products expected to be launched by the year’s end. Here’s what’s on the horizon.
iPhone 17 Series
After years of modest iPhone updates, this year’s iPhone 17 collection is generating significantly more buzz. The Plus model has been replaced by a new iPhone Air, and there are rumors of a rebranding for the Pro Max to introduce the very first iPhone Ultra.
- iPhone 17: Features ProMotion for the first time, enhanced selfie camera, and more.
- iPhone 17 Air: Exceptionally thin and futuristic design, though some trade-offs are expected.
- iPhone 17 Pro: Improved camera system, increased memory, and new A19 Pro chip.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: Bulkier for increased battery life and a minimized display cutout.
M5 Macs and iPads
This year, Apple has already introduced two new iPads and two new Macs, but more are in the works, including the launch of the first M5 chip products.
- New Mac Pro: Expected to feature the M3 Ultra similar to the latest Mac Studio, with a slight possibility of a new design.
- M5 MacBook Pro: The first product to showcase the M5 chip, alongside M5 Pro and M5 Max variations.
- M5 iPad Pro: Rumors are few, mostly suggesting the M5 chip, but possibly featuring Apple’s C1 modem.
Significant Upgrades for AirPods and Apple Watch
This fall, Apple is poised to make major enhancements to its wearable devices, primarily driven by the highly anticipated new versions of AirPods Pro and the Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple Home Devices
Apple has ambitious plans for the smart home sector, which will start to unfold with a new Home product and updates to some existing favorites.
- ‘HomePad’: A smart home command center powered by homeOS.
- New Apple TV 4K: Expected to feature Apple Intelligence capabilities, along with an upgraded A-series chip.
- HomePod mini 2: Features a new Wi-Fi modem and improved compatibility with other Home devices.
Other Upcoming Apple Products
What else is on the agenda? A few significant updates for some of Apple’s less frequently refreshed products.
- AirTag 2: Features a new Ultra Wideband chip with enhanced range and improved privacy measures.
- Studio Display 2: Maintaining the 27-inch size but introducing MiniLED technology and potential camera enhancements.
Potential Additional Apple Products This Year
Strong speculation suggests that the complete lineup of new products mentioned is expected to launch within this year or very soon after. However, are there any other possibilities?
A few wildcards include potential updates to two of Apple’s pricier items:
- Vision Pro
- Pro Display XDR
There’s a lot of buzz regarding a new Vision Pro, with at least one credible source from the supply chain indicating an M5 Vision Pro update could arrive late this year or early 2026.
Additionally, beyond the Studio Display 2, reports suggest Apple may also be working on a Pro Display XDR 2 for potential launch later this year or soon thereafter.
In any case, with the many Apple products detailed above anticipated to launch this year, it promises to be an especially thrilling time for new hardware.
