Apple’s latest beta releases are now available. Developers can install beta 4 for visionOS 2.4, watchOS 11.4, tvOS 18.4, and more.
New Software Brings Apple Intelligence to Vision Pro and Enhancements to TV App
Apple is ramping up for the public release of its upcoming software updates.
Just a week following beta 3 updates, the company has rolled out developer beta 4 for visionOS 2.4, tvOS 18.4, HomePod 18.4, and more.
The most intriguing and feature-rich of these upcoming updates is definitely visionOS.
Vision Pro will receive its inaugural Apple Intelligence features in visionOS 2.4, along with improvements to guest mode, a new Spatial Gallery app, and additional functionalities.
For Apple TV 4K, while tvOS 18.4 doesn’t introduce major features, it includes some welcome design updates to the TV app.
Enhancements to the Apple TV app feature:
- A prominent plus button on featured titles for easy addition to Watchlist
- Episode release schedules highlighted for better visibility
- Updated fonts and icons throughout the application
No significant updates have been shared for watchOS 11.4 or HomePod 18.4. However, they are expected to include the usual ‘bug fixes and performance improvements’ typical of Apple’s incremental updates.
What to Anticipate from Beta 4 and Expected Release Dates
We’re only a few weeks away from the anticipated public release of these software versions, which implies a couple of things.
