Apple is in the final stages of preparing for the upcoming release of iOS 18.4. The release candidate version of this update for iPhone and iPad is now accessible to developers and public beta testers. iOS 18.4 introduces a plethora of new features for both devices.
The second beta of iOS 18.4 brings support for the Visual Intelligence feature on the iPhone 15 Pro. Users can now access the Apple Intelligence visual search functionality via Control Center, the Action button, or Shortcuts on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, starting with iOS 18.4.
Notably, iOS 18.4 beta 2 also features the introduction of new emoji characters for the first time in a year.
In addition, the first beta of iOS 18.4 launched over 50 new features and enhancements!
These updates include redesigns for CarPlay, Apple Intelligence-powered Priority Notifications, a new Apple News+ food recipes service, mood-based music shortcuts in Control Center, and much more.
Additionally, Apple is expanding the language support for Apple Intelligence in the upcoming software update. This includes French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (simplified), as well as localized English for Singapore and India. The final version is expected to be available to consumers in April.
