Apple has officially revealed WWDC 2025, which will take place from June 9 to June 13 at Apple Park in California.
In a press release regarding WWDC 2025, Apple shared:
Apple today announced its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held online from June 9 to 13, 2025. Developers and students will have the chance to participate in a special event at Apple Park on June 9.
Free for all developers, WWDC25 will highlight the latest advancements in Apple software. This conference continues Apple’s dedication to developer support by granting unique access to Apple experts and insights into new tools, frameworks, and features.
The structure of WWDC 2025 will remain consistent with previous years. Apple has declared the event will be “entirely online” and free for developers, although there will be an exclusive in-person occasion at Apple Park on June 9. Attendance for this in-person event is limited, and details on how to apply are available on the WWDC25 website.
At WWDC, Apple promises to showcase the latest advancements in its software. Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, stated:
“We’re thrilled to celebrate another remarkable year of WWDC with our global developer community. We look forward to unveiling the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and inspire continued innovation.”
WWDC 2025: iOS 19 and more
During WWDC in June, Apple will announce its next set of operating systems, which includes:
- iOS 19
- iPadOS 19
- visionOS 3
- tvOS 19
- macOS 16
- watchOS 12
Rumors suggest that iOS 19 will be among the most significant software updates in Apple’s history, introducing a redesigned layout for icons, menus, apps, windows, and more. It is expected to enhance user navigation and control over their devices. Bloomberg claims this update will represent “the biggest overhaul since iOS 7” in 2013.
macOS 16 is also rumored to undergo a major redesign this year, along with iPadOS 19. Apple intends to harmonize its design language across its platforms, aiming for a “more consistent” experience for users.
