If you’re in the Austin, Texas area, get ready to experience the power of Apple Vision Pro at your neighborhood Lowe’s! That’s right: Apple’s spatial computer is making its way to Lowe’s Home Improvement locations to assist you in visualizing your dream kitchen.
Lowe’s introduced its Lowe’s Style Studio for Apple Vision Pro last year in Central Charlotte, North Carolina. Beginning Saturday, March 15, and available for a “limited time,” you can experience this offering in five stores around Austin, Texas:
- Central Austin, 800 Shoal Creek Blvd.
- S.W. Austin, 6400 Brodie Lane
- N.W. Austin, 13201 N Ranch Rd 620, Bldg G
- Bee Cave, 12611 Suite 100 Shops Pkwy.
- Marble Falls, 3200 N US Highway 281
The Lowe’s Style Studio experience provides users with an “immersive kitchen visualization session,” allowing them to explore styles curated by Lowe’s experts.
In a 45-minute consultation, a Lowe’s associate will guide customers through various kitchen options, including sinks, cabinets, ranges, countertops, flooring, and more, all while utilizing Apple Vision Pro. The spatial computing technology integrates digital content into the real world, enabling users to interact in high resolution, using intuitive controls through their eyes and hands. Friends, family, and decorators can also join the session with an iPad that mirrors the 3D experience, allowing families to collaboratively design their ideal kitchen with Lowe’s. At the conclusion of the session, customers can digitally save and share their chosen styles and product lists, which can also be saved to their Lowes.com account for later reference.
Lowe’s states that the experience has been “enhanced based on customer input” since the initial testing phase last summer. New design options, a “teleport feature that lets users view their kitchen from different angles within the room,” and more have been integrated.
This unique collaboration powered by Apple Vision Pro is impressive. For further details, check out the full press release below. You can also download the Lowe’s Style Studio app from the App Store to explore the experience on your Apple Vision Pro at home.

“Lowe’s has consistently been a trusted resource for home improvement advice in our community,” said Ricardo Ramirez, store manager of Lowe’s in Central Austin. “However, making renovation decisions can still be challenging, especially for complex projects like kitchen remodels. We are thrilled to combine groundbreaking technology with the trusted expertise of our associates.”
Sessions are available for free and can be booked by appointment or on a walk-in basis (appointments are recommended). To make an appointment, visit Lowes.com.
The launch in Austin follows a shorter trial conducted last year at three stores. Since then, the Lowe’s Style Studio™ has undergone enhancements based on customer feedback, with new options introduced across various categories, emphasizing trending colors and popular kitchen designs. The Austin launch will also debut a teleport feature allowing users to see their kitchen from various perspectives in the room. Customers can switch views effortlessly with a swipe of their finger, allowing them to remain seated throughout the session. Lowe’s plans to expand the Lowe’s Style Studio™ to additional stores later this year.
