In celebration of the Apple Watch’s 10th anniversary, Apple has unveiled an exclusive fitness challenge. Additionally, a limited-edition pin will be available at Apple Stores to honor a decade of users closing their Apple Watch rings.
Apple Watch Challenge on April 24 and Exclusive Pin
Marking a decade since the launch of Apple Watch, Apple is launching a unique fitness challenge.
The date set for this celebration is Thursday, April 24, designated as ‘Global Close Your Rings Day.’ Participants in the challenge will earn digital accolades along with a chance to claim a limited-edition physical pin available for collection at Apple Stores, while stocks last.
Here are the specifics:
On April 24, Apple Watch users are invited to engage in their favorite activities, challenge themselves further, or explore new ventures, sharing their experiences with the hashtag #CloseYourRings. Those who successfully close all three Activity rings will receive a limited-edition award, in addition to 10 animated stickers and an animated badge for Messages.
To commemorate Global Close Your Rings Day, customers can collect a special pin inspired by the award. This pin will be available at Apple Store locations globally starting April 24, while supplies last.
Apple frequently presents fitness challenges for Apple Watch users as an encouragement towards healthier living. It’s wonderful to see the company commemorating the product’s 10th anniversary with such enthusiasm.
While the visual design of the exclusive pin hasn’t been revealed yet, Apple indicates that it will bear resemblance to the digital reward depicted below.
I’m excited about the virtual medal motivating me to achieve all three rings on April 24, and I believe the physical pin will raise awareness among even more Apple Watch users compared to a typical challenge.
