The Apple Watch has recently introduced an exciting feature for users looking to take a break without interrupting their Activity streak. With watchOS 11 and iOS 18, individuals can now temporarily suspend their Activity rings—a feature that has been highly anticipated. Furthermore, today’s watchOS 11.2 and iOS 18.2 update brings a fresh set of rewards designed to keep you motivated to exercise and maintain a healthy level of activity throughout your day.
All Rings Closed Awards
The Activity rings are comprised of three key goals: Move, Stand, and Workout. Initially, the Stand and Workout goals were restricted to 12 hours and 30 minutes per day, respectively, but Apple has since allowed for customization of these targets. Moreover, children even have their own version of the Move ring, which monitors outdoor time rather than calories burned.
Starting today, Apple Watch users can achieve a new set of awards categorized as All Rings Closed. As the title suggests, these awards are awarded for successfully closing all three Activity rings for a set number of days.
You can earn distinctive badges for closing all rings after 365 days, 500 days, 1000 days, and more, with milestones reaching 3500 days and upwards. These awards can be accessed through the Fitness app (formerly known as Activity) available on the Apple Watch and iPhone.
Interestingly, the Apple Watch was first released on April 24, 2015, which makes the 3500 days award the highest attainable milestone as of now. We just marked the 3500-day milestone on December 3rd. Additional milestones are expected to be introduced as they become feasible.
Importantly, the new All Rings Closed award recognizes how many days you have already achieved by closing all three rings. What’s the highest All Rings Closed milestone you have unlocked with your Apple Watch to date?
