F1 Movie Represents Apple’s Most Ambitious Theatrical Venture to Date

Insider reports suggest that Apple has decided to emulate Netflix’s model, focusing more on direct-to-streaming films. This strategy will likely see Apple commit to producing only one or two major theatrical projects each year.
This year, F1 is that major project. It marks Apple’s inaugural effort to produce a true summer blockbuster.
Featuring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for Top Gun: Maverick, the film will see a considerable theatrical release on June 27.
