Next month, millions of Americans will receive their Social Security benefits, but when can you expect yours?
According to the SSA, payments in April 2025 will be scheduled as follows:
- April 1: Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries.
- April 3: Payments for retirees who started receiving benefits before May 1997 and also receive SSI.
- April 9: Benefits for individuals born between the 1st and 10th.
- April 16: Benefits for those born between the 11th and 20th.
- April 23: Benefits for individuals born from the 21st to the 31st.
For retirees at Full Retirement Age (67), the highest monthly benefit is $4,018, although amounts may differ based on lifetime earnings.
