The 25-year-old four-time winner of Grand Slam singles recorded her transition into motherhood with a carousel of Instagram posts on Thursday, including the very first image of her baby. Shai is shown in the picture with her head out of the frame and wearing a cute white overall with tennis theme prints all over it. Osaka also shared images of her growing baby bulge, herself, and a picnic with balloons spelling out “Mom” in the backdrop. Osaka sarcastically captioned the images that it had been a cool intermission. Back to the recurring show, please.
Naomi Osaka Wishes To Get Back To Tennis With A New Member In Her Support System
Osaka and her partner Cordae just had their first child in LA. At the time, it had been revealed by a source to the media that Osaka and her little daughter were “doing well.” Cordae and Osaka’s chosen name for their daughter had been decided when their newborn girl was made public over the weekend. The rapper interrupted his set at Calgary Stampede in Canada to inform the crowd that his baby Shai had been born a few days ago and thus he would dedicate her performance to her.
He said that he loved her and was going home. Naomi Osaka confirmed to the media in April that she along with her partner Cordae were discussing possible baby names before the birth of their kid. “We’ve been talking about names. We are aiming for something distinctive than conventional, in my opinion,” she said. She back then attributed part of her easy pregnancy to her amazing support system.
“I have several moms, all of them are in various stages of parenthood. It’s been helpful to have them provide suggestions and advice along the process,” she remarked. Osaka said she was eager to return to tennis, with a new supporter, as the pregnancy chapter came to an end.
