The Beats brand from Apple has introduced yet another limited-edition model of its Solo 4 headphones. This edition features a collaboration with New York designer Sandy Liang, designed to showcase a “playful, nostalgic aesthetic alongside Beats’ signature high-quality look and sound.”
According to a press announcement from Beats:
Drawing inspiration from Sandy’s youthful style, these headphones feature her unique hand-drawn pink ribbon design on the headband, complemented by matching pink “b” logos, all set against a striking metallic-silver background. The custom packaging showcases a pink, 3D-sculpted ribbon reflecting Sandy Liang’s artistic vision, along with logos printed in silver metallic ink. These ultra-light headphones offer exceptional sound quality and up to 50 hours of battery life, making them perfect for stylish adventures throughout the city and beyond.
Commenting on the partnership with Beats, Sandy Liang expressed:
“I’ve always been attracted to the coexistence of nostalgia and modernity. Collaborating with Beats felt like the ideal opportunity to embody that. Since they are such a cultural touchstone, I aimed for this collaboration to feel intimate—merging functionality with a playful personality. The Beats Solo 4 are a fantastic addition to the Beats and Apple headphone lineup. While there are additional changes I wished Beats had implemented, the updates that were made were essential. It’s also noteworthy that the price remains unchanged at $199.99.
