The Cloud II Wireless headsets made by HyperX have been definitely created for people that are expecting simple controls, a good sound quality, and the feeling of ‘barely-there’. This model is simply a wireless version of the flagship Cloud II gaming headset that HyperX makes. The headset uses a wireless receiver of around 2.4 GHz that works well with PS4, and PCs- and the PS5 when that would be released in and around November. One can also connect Apple devices to this headset- using an adapter for USB-C to USB-A. The Cloud II wireless costs around $149.99, and you can order it from HyperX from the 10th of November.

What Makes The HyperX Cloud II Wireless Special?

When shopping for headsets, comfort and sound quality are usually what drives people to go for the Cloud II. The model also has a USB-C charging port, which will allow you to charge it quite easily, compared to other wireless brands that have a USB-A charging port. The headset from HyperX has promised a battery life of around 30 hours, and most of us wouldn’t really run out of it.

The Cloud II Wireless has a punchy, balanced sound that is produced through its 53mm drivers. If you have been a long fan of the Sony WH-1000XM3, you would be enjoying it. The headsets don’t have the sort of presentation that might tire you out- for the bass isn’t over-the-top, and highs and the lows have a treble-like quality about them. But, the headphones might not be the best if you are looking for noise-cancellation. While closed- back, it definitely has a few air slits on the top which allows in some external noise with it.

The Ease At Which One Could Use the HyperX Cloud II Wireless.

But what makes the Cloud II Wireless really special is that the controls are extremely easy to control. If you don’t count the dial for volume near the right-ear cup, you will find two more buttons near the left ear cup- which are for mute, and power. To enable a much more languid ease at using them, one of the buttons is concave, while the other is convex. If one were to press on the power button twice, it would activate the 7.1 surround sound mode inside the headphone. You might also give this HyperX a few extra bounty points, because it has nifty little details like a LED surrounding the microphone- to inform when it is muted. One could also turn on this very mic monitoring so that one could hear themselves by simply holding on to the mute button- something that is definitely not present in a lot of headphones.

The HyperX Cloud II Wireless will be in for people who don’t want to acquaint themselves with the Logitech G733. For, the sound quality in both these headphones is the same. The former edges out on being able to charge itself via USB-C, and having much simpler features. But you might have to pay an additional $20 for it.
