The 25-year-old actress introduced her new baby girl, Jackson Joanne, with an adorable Instagram post on Friday. “So Happy to welcome this little lady into the world,” she wrote in part of her caption. “Can’t wait for you to join us sweetheart! Mommy loves you more than words can express. #jacksonjoanneyoung (and no, that’s not a typo).”
Lourd also shared a photo of herself holding up an ultrasound image while sitting next to her mother at home just days before she gave birth last month. In another photo from the same shoot, they embrace each other while looking at photos on their phones together—one of which showed the pair posing together as Star Wars characters Princess Leia and General Organa respectively.

Congratulations, Billie Lourd! The Scream Queens star and her husband, Austen Rydell , have welcomed their first child together.
The couple’s baby girl was born recently, according to People.
“Billie Lourd is a mom!” the publication wrote alongside photos of the actress from her family trip to Hawaii with her mom Carrie Fisher and brother Beau (who will also be an uncle), as well as a sweet snapshot of Billie cradling her small bundle of joy.
The newborn’s moniker has yet to be revealed but she does have an official Twitter account which was set up by @BillieLourdFanPage. On Friday afternoon it tweeted: “I’m so excited for everyone to meet my new daughter! #billielourd.” Industry sources tell E! News that Billie gave birth via C-section after having preeclampsia; however she appears healthy and happy in recent photos taken while walking around Oahu’s north shore with Rydell.”
Lourd, 28 and daughter of Carrie Fisher, took to Instagram on Monday to give fans a glimpse into her life as a new mom. In the first of three photos, Lourd wore a black bikini top as she held her newborn baby close and kissed her forehead. The second showed Fisher’s dog Gary snuggling up to the mom-daughter duo.
