Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States experienced net weekly outflows last week, breaking a six-week inflow period that had accumulated over $5 billion.
Data from SoSoValue indicates that the 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs reported net weekly outflows totaling $585.65 million for the week ending February 14, halting a streak of six consecutive weeks of inflows exceeding $5 billion.
The week started with $186.28 million in outflows on February 10, continuing with additional outflows of $56.76 million, $251.03 million, and $157.78 million across the following three trading days. However, the funds concluded the week on a slightly positive note, adding a modest net inflow of $66.19 million.
Fidelity’s FBTC garnered the largest share of inflows for the day, attracting $94.04 million, thus ending a streak of negative inflows observed over the prior four trading days. This spot Bitcoin ETF ranks as the second-best-performing BTC fund, boasting cumulative net inflows of $12.5 billion since its inception.
BlackRock’s IBIT followed closely behind with an inflow of $22.26 million, while Bitwise’s BITB and Grayscale’s mini Bitcoin Trust contributed positively as well, with inflows of $7.99 million and $6.46 million, respectively.
On the outflow side, Grayscale’s GBTC experienced $46.95 million in exits, pushing its total cumulative net outflows to a significant $22.01 billion. Additionally, ARK 21Shares’ ARKB and VanEck’s HODL recorded smaller outflows of $13.19 million and $4.43 million, respectively.
As of the latest update, Bitcoin (BTC) has declined by 2.4% over the last week, trading at $95,652 per coin.
Meanwhile, the nine spot Ethereum ETFs reported weekly outflows amounting to $26.26 million for the week ending February 14. After finally gaining traction with investors, ETH funds seem to be building some momentum.
Similar to Bitcoin, ETH funds wrapped up the week on a positive note with net inflows of $11.65 million, all originating from Fidelity’s FETH, as other funds recorded no flows for the day.
Ethereum (ETH) was trading at $2,685, reflecting a slight 0.3% decrease over the past week at the time of writing.
