Bitcoin experienced an uptick driven by speculation that President Donald Trump may introduce a U.S. strategic reserve for the digital currency at the upcoming White House crypto summit, according to analysts at Saxo Bank.
“There is still uncertainty regarding the framework of Trump’s proposed bitcoin reserve, as there is a divide among policymakers,” they noted.
Additionally, Bitcoin gained momentum due to a more favorable risk sentiment following Trump’s announcement of a one-month delay for automakers on the 25% tariffs imposed on imports from Canada and Mexico, which began on Tuesday.
