The drummer of Blink-182, Travis Barker got his finger injured, which no one was expecting. The band had to cancel the tour for now. The tour was expected to happen in Latin America, and the band is extremely sorry for the unwanted circumstances. It was going to be the band’s first time doing a gig in Latin America, but the plan went in vain. After reuniting this could be their first tour, but on Wednesday Tom DeLonge brought the sad news to social media.
Blink-182 Apologizes For Canceled Gig
Travis Barker got a serious finger injury, which needs surgery immediately and the Blink-182 wants to get it right at any cost.
Last year Blink-182 announced their world tour in August, and since then probably all the fans are holding their breath for their first gig. The band now has Travis Barker, who currently suffering from a finger injury that needs immediate attention. He shared his injured finger’s photo on Monday on social media, and that thing is in very poor condition. And he did say that it hurts bad when the medical worker asked him. He is currently wearing a brace on that finger and going to operate on it soon.
Blink-182 was rehearsing for their gig and Travis Barker smashed his finger so hard and eventually dislocated it. And not only that he also tore his ligaments.Which is causing unbearable pain. Blink-182’s tour was supposed to begin on march 11th from Mexico and throughout April in Latin America.
However, they are not canceling the whole tour. it will begin on 5th May.Blink-182 is starting from Saint Paul, Minnesota and they will be finishing the north American portion by the 16th of July. And Australia just right after that, and then the Europe tour will begin in September and continue till February 2024.
