On Tuesday, Adobe and Box unveiled a collaboration to combine their services. As of today, Box users can utilize the Adobe Express image editor directly within the cloud platform, enabling the creation and editing of visual content without the need to navigate to another website or application.
Adobe Express now accessible within Box
For those who may not know, Adobe Express is an online image editor that allows users to design graphics, PDF files, and various other digital assets. Thanks to this partnership, Adobe Express is now the primary image editing tool for Box users on the web.
“We’re thrilled to join forces with Adobe Express, enhancing our offerings with top-notch creative tools and commercially safe AI. Consequently, every Box user will effortlessly create, collaborate on, and securely manage digital media within a single, secure Intelligent Content Management platform,” stated Box’s CEO, Aaron Levie.
Adobe has confirmed that most features will be accessible within Box, including Firefly – the company’s generative AI. Additional functionalities will encompass cropping and resizing images, applying filters, adjusting opacity, removing objects and backgrounds, trimming videos, converting them to GIFs, and adding subtitles. Notably, all modifications are automatically saved on Box.
Moreover, Box users will have the capability to edit PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat and preview files from Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign and Illustrator.
The integration of Adobe Express will initially be available to Box Enterprise subscribers at no extra cost. There’s no requirement to enroll in a separate Adobe Express plan. More information can be found on the Box website.
