Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been critic’s favorite from the very beginning and has garnered heaps of praise for their performances, writing, and representation of serious issues throughout their show with a pinch of humor.

The police precinct of NBC had kick-started this comedy series that is now set to draw its curtains. The makers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine have recently made an announcement that the show is going to end after Season 8 which will have 10 episodes.

Sad News For Brooklyn Nine-Nine Fans

The people who are involved in Brooklyn Nine-Nine are Michael Schur and Dan Goor, the co-creators. The series revolves around the squad of Andre Braugher, Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon.

Fox property had first started producing the series but later canceled it after 5 seasons. NBC picked it up from the 5th season.

NBC released a statement regarding the ending of the show stating that universal TV and NBC feel grateful that the fans showered their love and support for such a long time. They also praised the cast of the show who are extremely talented and cooperative.

They mentioned that when the script was first read out to them they predicted that the show would go on for almost 153 episodes and that almost the number of episodes. Although they realize the fans across the world will be disappointed with the cancellation of the show, they feel it to be the prime time to stop the show and leave in the blaze of glory rather than impending failure.

Some of the cast members have also expressed their sadness to part but they also feel humbled by this great opportunity that came their way to be a part of such a great show.
