In his Main Stem debut, Casey Cott will assume the title role of Christian in “Moulin Rouge!” on Broadway. On August 1, Cott will join the cast in place of the recently revealed Courtney Reed in the role of Satine. He will continue working on the project until December 3.
Derek Klena, who will perform in his final show on July 30, will be replaced by Cott.
Casey Cott will make his Broadway debut after spending the entire seven-season run of Riverdale, the live-action CW adaptation of the Archie comics, which is anticipated to end after season seven.

Jim Carnahan and Stephen Kopel are in charge of casting. Klena and Levesque are part of the current Moulin Rouge cast.
