Starting today, Vision Pro users in the UK can enjoy a brand-new TV streaming application. Channel 4 is debuting a dedicated app for Vision Pro, marking it as the first broadcaster in the UK to make this move. Here are the specifics.

The latest Channel 4 app for visionOS allows viewers to enjoy favorites such as Taskmaster in a fully immersive Vision Pro experience.
Channel 4 is pioneering the use of Apple Vision Pro’s distinct and powerful features as the first UK broadcaster. Viewers can access groundbreaking cinema-style programming that projects a full-screen experience onto their real-world environments, including their living room walls.
The UK broadcaster has also integrated an immersive setting within the app that transports users directly to the Taskmaster set.

Recently, other streaming platforms have introduced similar immersive environments, including SpongeBob SquarePants on Paramount+ and a new Icelandic backdrop on Disney+.
These environments allow you to dive into a virtual setting while enjoying content within that app. However, unlike Apple’s own Environments available across visionOS for any app, the environments provided by streaming platforms like Channel 4 are designed exclusively for those specific applications.
