The AI chatbot ChatGPT is experiencing issues for numerous users in both the US and UK, with a range of errors being reported, such as gateway issues, login problems, and difficulties loading chats.
According to BBC News, the outage was initially reported in the UK.
Downdetector, a service that monitors website outages, indicated that over 10,000 users in the UK reported problems accessing the AI chatbot developed by OpenAI on Thursday.
Those trying to access it encountered a notification stating, “the web server reported a bad gateway error.”
However, there have been claims from other users that the issue is also impacting many in the US.
OpenAI has acknowledged that they are aware of the issue and are actively working on a solution.
