It turns out that Chris Hemsworth’s favorite Hollywood Chris is not him. The “Thor” actor tweeted on Tuesday to wish Chris Evans, a fellow Marvel actor, a happy birthday. It brought with it a clear response as to which renowned Chris he likes the best.
He tweeted, “Happy Birthday to my favorite Chris @ChrisEvans,” accompanied by a picture of himself skulking behind a beaming Evans. The argument about whether of the four primary actors—Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Chris Pine, and Chris Pratt—is the finest Hollywood Chris has lasted online for years. Pine even focused on separating the four guys in his “Saturday Night Live” monologue in 2017.

Hemsworth, though, claiming Evans to be the better Chris appears to be part of a running joke between the three of them rather than being a criticism of Pratt. The “Extraction 2” actor posted a picture of himself and Pratt to social media to mark Evans’ birthday in 2021.
He captioned the image of him and Pratt, “Happy 40th birthday Chris Evans, you’re going to always be number 1 in my book.” However, the online discussion heated up more than ever in October 2020 after TV writer Amy Berg tweeted images of the four actors along with the statement, “One has to go.”
Berg received a deluge of comments on Pratt, many of which denigrated him in comparison to other Christians due to his political views and membership in a church that was alleged to engage in anti-LGBTQ behaviors.
Pratt’s Marvel co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. publicly backed him on social media when the conversation gained enough traction.
