CMA Awards has honored the legendary figure Charley Pride with the lifetime achievement award. The award was handed to Pride by none other than Jimmie Allen.

Before Charley Pride accepted the lifetime achievement award he performed his famous piece, “Kiss An Angel Good Morning”. Jimmie Allen joined the famous star in this performance and magic was created on stage. The moment was so beautiful that famous personnel like Luke Combs and Eric Church who were present in the audience sang along with Charley Pride and Jimmie Allen. Not only was the day special for Pride it is being said that this day is going to get noted as one of the most remarkable days in the history of the entertainment industry.
The award that Charley Pride received for his life’s work is known as the Willie Nelson Award. In his thanksgiving speech, Charley Pride mentioned the most inspiring figure of his life, Jack Clement. He also added that after all of this he would go and visit Clement in person along with his wife to convey his gratitude.
The singer has been a legend in the music industry, naturally, the audience was deeply moved by his presence on the stage. Pride thanked many more important people in his speech for contributing greatly to his life. He specially thanked John Daines who had served him as his road manager for more than thirty-seven years.
