The NYE performance of Cyndi Lauper goes viral on the social media site Twitter. The legend who is now 67 years old, is most popular for her hits in the 80s. She kickstarted the set by singing a duet with singer Billy Porter, called “True Colors”. Billy Porter also starred in the original production of Broadway in Kinky Boots.
However, once the first song was over, things went pretty awkward. Once the song “True Colors” got over, one person approached Cyndi Lauper and told her to remove her scarf, however, Cyndi didn’t want to remove her scarf while yelling that she is on camera two times. Then the assistant nervously and quickly ran out of the stage. The next duet started after the scuffle on-screen was over.
