Dave Coulier Praises The Songs Of Her Ex Morissette
The mentioned album first came out in two parts. Dave recalled how he was listening to “You oughta know” while driving, and at first, he did not realize that it was his then partner Alanis singing the song. The actor really liked the voice, rushed into a store, and instantly bought the whole record.
Dave Coulier also added to his interview that he parked his car in the street and listened to the whole album. After finishing the album, he realized it was his ex singing the songs, and then he thought he might have hurt Alanis in their relationship.
Years later, when they met again, Dave asked Alanis what she wanted him to say about their relationship if people asked him, and she said he could say whatever he wanted. Dave said she is a kind and sweet human being for saying that to him. He also added how Alanis went to Detroit from Toronto with a guitar to comfort Dave’s sister, who was dying as cancer grasped her, and Alanis sang for her, sitting beside her in the hospital.
