After sustaining facial burns in a domestic mishap, David Njoku has had enough of hiding. The tight end for the Cleveland Browns, 27, uploaded a collection of images to Instagram on Wednesday, two of which revealed the full limit of his fire injuries. In the twelve days since the event, Njoku hasn’t publicly revealed his face before. He has previously covered it, as shown by the fact that on October 1 he entered CBS with an alien-inspired beige disguise that covered all of his body except for his eyes. The two images he published on social media were uploaded without a message, but they looked to document his recovery’s advancement.

The first image was taken by Njoku as he was sitting calmly in a car with his sweatshirt’s hood pulled up above his head. The photograph revealed obvious skin damage around his forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and lips despite the fact that dark sunglasses concealed his eyes. Similar wounds could be visible on his hand in the reflection of his spectacles, while his left hand was bandaged. David Njoku was beaming in the other photo as he smiled at the camera. His lips and the inflamed areas of his skin were greatly dulled. His face also appeared to be sweat-shiny.
