It is now official that Alaina Anderson and Derrick Rose are a married couple. The point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, who is now 34 years old, took his vows along with Anderson in California’s Beverly Hills. The ceremony was elegant, to say the least.
Alaina is an influencer specializing in fitness and shared multiple pictures of the event on her Instagram profile on September 9th. In the caption, she wrote “The Roses” followed by an emoticon of a rose. According to NBC Sports Chicago, the wedding occurred on September 7th, Thursday.
A Lovely Wedding For Derrick Rose
Alaina’s Instagram post showed two pictures in which Derrick Rose carried Anderson like a bride. Another picture showed the couple together with two children – 5-year-old Layla Malibu Rose, their daughter, and 4-year-old London Marley, their son. Derrick Rose also has another son named PJ. Her mother is his former lover Mieka Reese. In yet another picture, Alaina posed with her daughter where the child is seen smiling upwards while looking at her mother. Alaina appeared to have a crown made of flowers on her head.
The series of pictures also included one showing the first kiss between Derrick Rose and Anderson as wife and husband. Joakim Noah, one of Rose’s fellow teammates at Chicago Bulls between 2008 and 2016, was also there in the features. In fact, he was most possibly the ceremony’s officiator.
For the big day, Alaina had on a dress shimmering in white, coupled with a long veil and train. Derrick Rose chose a look without a shirt. He had on a suit jacket in black without a shirt underneath. Along with that, he had two gold chains hanging from his neck. He also adorned his lapel with a white rose.
