Doja Cat has been preparing to make the town seem bad. The 27-year-old rapper and singer announced on Tuesday that her fourth album is on the way. The “Need To Know” singer released the artwork and date of release for her upcoming album along with the name of the album, Scarlet, in an Instagram post.

The artist, whose actual name is Amala Dlamini, revealed Scarlet’s release date as she put “SCARLET 9.22” as her caption saying that it would be available on Kemosabe and RCA Records on September 22. The art on the cover shows a red spider on a white background, as seen on the Grammy winner’s Instagram.

Doja Cat Teases Her Upcoming Songs

“Planet Her”, which debuted in June two years back and received 64th Grammy Award nominations for Best Album and Best Pop is followed by Scarlet.

Doja Cat just started previewing “Demons,” the third song she’s released this year after “Attention” as well as “Paint the Town Red,” which were released in August and June. The singer hinted last week that something will be released on 1st September with a mysterious monochromatic Instagram shot of herself wearing devil horns. Doja Cat further added the caption “9.1.23.” On Tuesday, she teased the music once more by revealing the title of the song as “Demons” and posting a terrifying photograph of herself dressed as a devil in the air. Since it was released in early August, “Paint the Town Red,” which includes a clip of Dionne Warwick’s “Walk on By,” has progressively moved up the BH100 chart, where it is presently ranked fifth.

The “Woman” singer revealed The Scarlet Tour in June, even before she officially announced her forthcoming album. Along with the guests and rappers Doechii and Ice Spice, the rapper would be touring across America performing her brand-new songs. The tour begins on October 31 in SF and ends on 13th December in Chicago.
