The somewhat darker hairstyle worn by Dorit Kemsley represents a new age.
The 46-year-old RHOBH star said about going brunette that she simply needed some change, on Saturday at the Hollywood Gala.
She further joked about herself being a bit high-maintenance and remarked that at least she should not have to work so hard to maintain her hair. Blonde hair is very difficult to maintain, she added.
Dorit Kemsley Opens Up On Changing Her Look
The fashion-forward member of RHOBH Dorit claimed that her previously blonde hair had encouraged her to look through other aspects of her look. About this recent look, she said that it aptly reflects her current mood and feeling. Dorit Kemsley is someone who rarely requires a stylist and often dresses herself. She wonders why she does it since it calls for a lot of additional effort. However, she believes that at this point, having brown hair was something that she craved as a part of the change she has been wanting.
Right after Dorit Kemsley revealed her fresh new look, fans could not help but point out and comment on the similarities of her new look with pop icon, Ariana Grande. However, she instantly made it clear that Ariana,29, was not in her thoughts when celebrity hairstylist Sergio Garcia dyed her mane. She further added that she hates denying the resemblance since Ariana is really beautiful but that look was not the source of her inspiration.
At her Hollywood Gala charity event, Dorit Kemsley complemented her slinky black dress by wearing her hair half up and half down. The opulent event, hosted at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, aimed to collect money for low-income LA residents, homeless people, foster youngsters, and veterans to receive high-quality care for their teeth.
