You may have heard by now that Elon Musk has called for the removal of a Twitter account that tracks his movements. The billionaire claims the account puts his son at risk, but the creator says he doesn’t think anyone would take him seriously anyway. But what exactly did Elon Musk do to get this mysterious Twitter page shut down?

The account, @StasisTracker, was created in 2017 and had more than 100,000 followers. It was suspended by Twitter on Friday after Musk complained to Dorsey about it.

In his complaint, Musk wrote that the account “was being used to track me around the world and I suspect its purpose is to blackmail/extort me,” according to The New York Times .

Elon Musk is a billionaire, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and has a son named Griffin. He  complained about an account that was created in 2017 to track his movements. In an email obtained by Forbes, Musk said that he had been able to get the account suspended twice before but it was back up again.

Twitter’s CEO reportedly declined to remove the account, which has since been suspended by the social media platform.

A Twitter account that tracked Elon Musk’s movements, and claimed to be run by his son in order to “protect” the billionaire from being kidnapped, has been suspended.
