PEOPLE the media house confirmed the news of the couple getting separated in August. Their legal date of separation as per the documents was 1st April.
Sasha and Slater got together in 2016 and they got engaged in a live BBC event after performing to a romantic song by Bruno Mars.
The host of the show back then brought the couple at the center of the ballroom and then he told Farber that they had the potential to host shows.
The couple then married each other in LA in 2018 with their family and friends attending the ceremony. Their fellow colleagues from the DWTS has also accompanied them in the ceremony.
Emma Slater and Sasha Farber were close friends for a couple of years before the couple become romantic partners. However, Farber said that he knew Emma was who he wants to marry in just a few months after their first meeting.
