Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding iOS 19, particularly with rumors hinting at a revamped interface modeled after visionOS. While the specific details remain elusive, a skilled creator has designed a live mockup of iOS 19, making it interactive through an App Clip.
Interactive App Clip Breathes Life into iOS 19 Mockup
A user named “Shane” has shared this mockup via an App Clip developed with Play. The design incorporates visual aspects from visionOS, such as frosted glass-inspired backgrounds, enhanced depth, and shadows, to conceptualize what iOS 19 could look like. The icons are rounded, similar to those featured in the Vision Pro operating system.
Enhancing the realism of the concept, you can interact with various components. For example, it allows access to the Settings, Music, and Camera applications, with the Camera app featuring a live preview (if you grant permission to the App Clip).
It’s important to note that this mockup is based on the latest rumors regarding iOS 19 and should not be considered an accurate leak. However, it certainly provides insight into what we might expect in the next iOS update.
YouTuber Jon Prosser was among the first to indicate that Apple is developing a new interface for iOS 19. He showcased a mockup featuring a potentially revamped Camera app for the iPhone, complete with floating buttons on the screen. This speculation has been supported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who mentioned earlier this month that iOS 19 and macOS 16 will represent a “significant upgrade” to the interface in years.
Recently, Prosser unveiled further iOS 19 mockups based on insider information. To reinforce these rumors, the artwork released during WWDC 2025 is heavily influenced by visionOS.
Apple is set to reveal iOS 19 at WWDC 2025, starting on June 9 with an opening keynote. In the meantime, you can experience the iOS 19 mockup on your iPhone via this App Clip.
