STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Although stimulus checks from the coronavirus pandemic might seem like a distant memory, some Americans may still be eligible to receive a payment of up to $1,400 if they act promptly.
Starting in December, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) began distributing stimulus payments of up to $1,400 to those taxpayers who did not claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on their 2021 income tax returns.
