While Apple is known for many successful products, the iPhone stands out as its flagship device. This year, five new models are set to launch, and here’s what you can look forward to with each of them.
iPhone SE 4
The budget-friendly iPhone SE is set to receive significant updates soon, marking its first major refresh since 2022.
This new iteration will bid farewell to the Home Button, embracing an edge-to-edge OLED display complete with a notch.

iPhone 17 Pro
While the iPhone 17 Air presents a fresh, exciting offering, Apple’s Pro line isn’t falling behind.
The iPhone 17 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display akin to the iPhone 16 Pro, while also undergoing several design modifications. Notably, it will debut a revamped frame constructed from aluminum instead of titanium, accompanied by a more substantial, rectangular camera enclosure.
Internally, the iPhone 17 Pro will showcase:

- 12GB of RAM, the highest ever in an iPhone
- Qualcomm’s 5G modem
It’s highly likely that there will be significant enhancements to the rear camera system reflecting the redesigned camera bump. Moreover, for the first time in several iterations, the front-facing camera is set to receive an upgrade.
Across the entirety of the iPhone 17 lineup, Apple is upgrading the front camera from 12MP to 24MP, resulting in enhanced capabilities.
iPhone 17 Pro Max
As usual, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will inherit all the prime features of its compact counterpart, the iPhone 17 Pro, but with added benefits such as improved battery longevity attributed to its larger design.
There are rumors suggesting that the 17 Pro Max will feature a smaller Dynamic Island compared to the other models. The specifics remain unclear, particularly regarding whether this includes Face ID being integrated within the display, leading to a reduced cutout size. However, a recent report has also questioned the likelihood of a change in the Dynamic Island size.
There’s a possibility that the Pro Max may include camera enhancements not present in the smaller 17 Pro, but there have been no substantial rumors confirming this yet.
iPhone 17
Completing Apple’s 2025 lineup is the entry-level iPhone 17.
Last year’s iPhone 16 was a standout base model. While we’ll have to see if this trend continues, here’s an overview of what we can expect:
- 24MP front camera
- A19 chip
- 8GB of RAM
- Retaining the 6.1-inch display size of the iPhone 16
Though further details on the base model should emerge in the upcoming months, it appears it will face substantial competition not only from the Air and Pro models but also from the more affordable iPhone SE 4.
