This week, Apple has officially announced that WWDC 2025, the forthcoming installment of its annual developer conference, will take place from June 9 to 13. While the event will be accessible via an online stream, there will be an in-person keynote at Apple Park, where eligible attendees can apply for tickets.

Kicking off WWDC 2025 on June 9, Apple will host a special event with select developers invited to attend the live opening keynote at Apple Park, alongside Apple employees and members of the media. If you qualify as an eligible developer, you can apply for complimentary access to the event.

Eligibility criteria for applications include:

  • Members registered in the Apple Developer Program
  • Members registered in the Apple Developer Enterprise Program
  • Winners of the Swift Student Challenge from 2023 to 2025

Please note, only developers with paid memberships can apply. In the U.S., the cost for individual membership is $99 per year.

For eligible developers, just visit the WWDC 2025 page on the Apple Developer website and click “Apply now.” Then, log in with your Apple Account and verify your personal information. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 2.

Apple has stated that developers will be selected through a “random selection” and “nontransferable” process. Invited attendees will be notified by the end of April 3. Additionally, “distinguished winners” of the Swift Student Challenge 2025 will receive automatic invitations for a special three-day experience in Cupertino, which includes attendance at the opening event at Apple Park.
