Gypsy Rose On Separating From Her Husband And Making A Life Of Her Own
“People have been inquiring about my life’s circumstances. Regretfully, my spouse and I are divorcing, so I moved in with my parents across the bayou. My friends and family are here to support me and help me get through this. I’m becoming better at following my gut. I need time to let myself discover who I am right now,” she stated, as reported by People.
While still doing time for her role in the scheme to kill her mother, Claudine “DeeDee” Blanchard, with her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn, Blanchard married Anderson, 37, in 2022. Before becoming married, the pair had written to one another. DeeDee Blanchard is thought to have faked her daughter’s childhood ailments to get her to undergo needless medical care and make her need a wheelchair to get attention. This is known as Munchausen syndrome via proxy. Gypsy Rose completed her ten-year term in December and was granted parole from Chillicothe Correctional Centre in Missouri. Anderson brought her up from the prison, and the two appeared happy to be starting a new life together.
