Halsey’s rap-sung line on Post Malone’s 2019 album Hollywood’s Bleeding track “Die For Me,” which also included Future, was one of the more unexpected moments. For the short seconds, she was on the mike, she dominated with a blistering critique of her unfaithful ex that overshadowed the remainder of the song. Today, the singer has stated that Post Malone and Future have given their OK for her to release the complete version of “Die 4 Me” on February 24 under the title “Die 4 Me.”

Halsey Is Excited For The New Version

Halsey stated on Instagram: “Next Friday, I will have a small surprise for you.” “My fans are well aware that there is a demo of “Die For Me” with only myself. I performed my verse on the tour throughout the summer, and since so many people requested the entire version, I decided to release it as “Die 4 Me.” It’s dropping next week on 2/24 and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

They added, “Many thanks to @postmalone @louisbell and @future for including me on the initial release and co-signing this version that is finally seeing the light of day.” When the song was released in 2019, Post Malone dedicated it to “everyone who has been through s*** with an adulterous spouse or a bad relationship,” adding, “It is a wonderful reminder that you are not alone and things will get better. Halsey fuckin’ snapped!” Halsey debuted as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live months before the release of “Die For Me.” During their performance of “Without Me,” the vocalist displayed text messages from their ex, probably the rapper G-Eazy, on the stage screen.
