A Momentous Occasion For Halsey

On Instagram, Halsey announced the news, saying, that the previous day felt like an out-of-body experience. They explained that “Without Me” is their second diamond album. “Closer” was their first, but “Without Me” was their first solo diamond album.

Halsey continued in the Instagram post by saying that there were some other incredibly interesting statistics they came to know about as well which included them having 75 platinum certifications throughout her catalog. They added that everything about it felt like a dream. They gave their thanks to @riaa_awards for coming out to present this amazing award. They also thanked everyone who has supported them along the way, from fans to friends.

Announcing Diablo IV’s June 6 release date for this year at last year’s The Game Awards, Halsey stole the show. Their blazing rendition of “Lilith” kicked off a partnership with Blizzard to produce material in anticipation of the game’s release.

The singer stated that they knew they desired to be involved with the launch and build-up of Diablo IV at the moment it was announced. They explained that Lilith is a big influence on their own art as well as formed several characteristics of their alter-ego. Halsey also revealed that their family is an avid Sanctuary player for several years and was thus, at the location, not only as a collaborator but also in the form of a fan. Halsey added that the announcement of collaboration involving Blizzard at The Game Awards was only the starting point of their plans.
