Consistency Among Three Notable Leakers
Majin Bu has established a reputation for reliable leaks, having accurately predicted the name of the iPhone 16e recently. They were the first to announce this back in early January.
In a recent tweet, they shared the CAD design with the caption “iPhone 17 Lineup CAD.”
Fixed Focus Digital has also supported this information, as has Ice Universe, who further disseminated the image.

It’s important to note that, even if this drawing turns out to be accurate (which now seems probable), CAD designs do not precisely depict the appearance of the devices; they primarily indicate the placement of external features such as camera lenses and buttons.
For instance, when we juxtapose the CAD layout of the iPhone 17 Pro Max with Sonny Dickson’s latest 3D render of what that design could look like in reality, it highlights the limitations of the CAD depiction.
Notably, the positions of the flash and LiDAR sensor are visible on the right side, but the drawing lacks detail to confirm whether the entire camera assembly is protruding or, as suggested by Dickson, divided into two separate bumps.
Furthermore, the shaded red area does not signify any specific elements visible on the device.

Variety of Camera Modules
The drawings reveal three distinct camera modules arranged as follows from left to right:
- iPhone 17 Air featuring a single camera in a horizontal bump.
- Base iPhone 17 with two cameras positioned in a vertical bump.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max containing three cameras in a triangular layout.
- iPhone 17 Pro adopting the same arrangement as the Pro Max.
While this array may seem somewhat cluttered displayed side-by-side, we would anticipate that the case finishes would offer a far more unified aesthetic.
