This design leak comes from the well-known Apple insider Sonny Dickson. In a social media post, Sonny showcases an image of what appears to be a rendering of the iPhone 17 Pro Max alongside a MagSafe case tailored to the new design.
The most notable change evident in the rendering is the revamped camera system.
Rather than the camera system being clustered in the upper left corner, the new layout spreads out the components, with the flash, microphone, and LiDAR sensor placed separately from the trio of lenses.
This new camera bar design is anticipated for the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air. In contrast, the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus are not expected to undergo any visual changes in their camera configurations.
