On Sunday, the 52-year-old winner of the Golden Globe posted his wedding photos on Instagram. This was his tribute to the marriage stepping into the 25th year. The caption read that the marriage with Deb comes as naturally as breathing to Hugh Jackman.
The caption continued that Hugh Jackman knew the moment they met that their destiny tied them together. He expressed his feelings for the 25-year-old marriage and said that their love had only become deeper. The learning, adventure, excitement, and fun have only become increasingly exhilarating and greater over the years. Hugh ended the caption by expressing his gratitude for being able to share their life, love, and family with each other. The last words were him professing his love and that it is still just the beginning.
Hugh Jackman had met Furness, now 65, on the sets of Correlli. They then decided to get wed in April of 1996. The wedding took place in a church on the outskirts of Melbourne. The couple has two children: their son Oscar who is now 20, and their 15-year-old daughter Ava.
Before last year’s anniversary, the actor stated that the couple still found time for themselves in an interview with PEOPLE. In the interview, he said that all humans always learn and change with time and so it is important to always reset. As such, he relishes how he rediscovers how funny, amazing, and she is.
Currently, the family is relaxing quietly at home during the lockdown, which is usually very rare given their busy schedules.
